Bigg Boss 4 sex sirens: Shweta Tiwari and Sakshi Pradhan
Salman Khan, true to his promise, invaded our television sets sharp at 9 pm on the anticipated night of 3rd October lifting the veil off the faces of the Bigg Boss contestants. And the two names who have tickled the male fantasies in past involved the names of Shweta Tiwari and Sakshi Pradhan. Let’s have a glimpse:
1. Shweta Tiwari: She came under the spotlight in the garb of a decent, homely Indian woman in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’. However, pretty soon, she made it clear that she wasn’t exactly the coy domestic gal that she portrayed. She spawned some meaty headlines by starring in a slew of reality shows. Her split with her husband was almost telecast live by the concerned news channels but eyebrows really got raised (and something else as well) when she did that open bath-under-the-shower in ‘Is Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao’.
2. Sakshi Pradhan: Being the winner of MTV’s modern-day show ‘Splitsvilla’ already lends her a fiery status. But her limelight moment came when her scandalous sex MMS got leaked on the net inviting a tsunami of male voyeurs to silently download the file. 3rd October clearly belonged to her as far as the google search engine is concerned. Thanks to her sexy, raunchy image, she now regularly haunts the devilish male minds.
Bigg Boss 4 : Shiv Sena and MNS opposed the participation of Pakistani artistes
The Shiv Sena and MNS on Monday vehemently opposed the participation of Pakistani artistes in the fourth season of popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, and threatened to stall its run.
The much-awaited show kicked off here yesterday with Bollywood superstar and host Salman Khan unveiling all the 14 contestants, including Veena Malik, Pakistani model and ex-girlfriend of cricketer Mohammed Asif and Begum Nawazish Ali, a cross dresser who hosts a famous chat show on a Pakistani channel.
Sena spokersperson Sanjay Raut said the party won’t allow the show to run with the Pakistani participants.
If Pakistanis are participating in the show, then allow Ajmal Kasab and Afzal Guru also (as contestants)… Sena will not permit to run the show,” he said.
News In detail
Bunty out of Bigg Boss
After hurling abuses at Bigg Boss, Davinder Singh asked to leave the house for not following rules on Day 1
Davinder Singh alias Bunty chor, one of the 14 contestants of Bigg Boss 4, was asked to leave the Bigg Boss house on the very first day because of unruly behaviour. Bunty became popular after the movie Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! that was based on his life was released in 2008.

Sources from the Bigg Boss team said that he abused Bigg Boss with Teri maa ki ..., teri ... and many such obscene words. He put socks on the cameras inside the house and did not go to the confession room, even after being summoned thrice by Bigg Boss.
We bring to you a blow by blow account given to us by the sources within the Bigg Boss team as to how the incident worsened for them.
First day: On the very first day, Bigg Boss had asked the contestants to vote for one of the contestants. Thinking the voting was for elimination, everyone voted unanimously for Bunty. However, Bigg Boss made him the Head of the House and he got to stay in the Delight room with a refrigerator, separate bathroom, cushioned bed, and other such facilities, with the responsibility to make the other contestants follow the rules.
7 pm: Bunty was asked by Bigg Boss to vacate the Head of the House room, as he spent the entire day sleeping without participating in any work or getting the work done.
7.30 pm: He slowly started packing his bag to get out of the Head's room.
9 pm: He started abusing Bigg Boss on the mike using foul language like Bigg Boss ki maa ka... etc.
9.30 pm: He started tampering with the camera by putting his socks over them in order to cover them.
Later, the inmates tried to explain to him that he should not be doing this, as it was against their contract.
Between 9.30 and 10.15 pm: He was summoned thrice by Bigg Boss to the confession room, but he refused to go and abused Bigg Boss.
When Sameer Soni and Shweta Tiwari tried to explain to him, he violently told them to stay away, "Aap Jaiye aur apna kaam kijiye, aap hatiye." He said he cares a shit for Bigg Boss and wanted to leave the show.
11.15 pm: Bigg Boss announced that Bunty should leave the house for the previously mentioned reasons.
A source from the Bigg Boss unit said, "He was removed as he could be a threat to anyone inside the house because of the way he was behaving. His contract may be terminated and he can be asked to go back. The whole drama will be aired today."
Wild days ahead on Bigg Boss 4!
Sukanya Verma in MumbaiLike them or not, reality shows are here to stay. And it's a definite in the case of the increasingly popular and unabashedly voyeuristic Bigg Boss, season 4.
After the likes of Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan, it's Salman Khan's turn to boost the show's TRPs with his characteristic candour and cheek.
Currently high on the roaring response to Dabangg, the superstar was clearly in his element and appeared to be having a ball. Be it dancing to his chartbusting hits from Dabangg, Wanted and Bigg Boss 4's brand new theme or plugging his latest success at every possible chance.
Often amused while observing the interactions inside the house, Chulbul Pandey kept the atmosphere fun and floored everyone even while confronting or teasing the celebrity housemates with uneasy questions.
Following his Bollywoodish entry featuring him on bike-chopper-cycle, the denim-clad Khan offers the viewers a step-by-step tour inside Bigg Boss' residence calling it 'Yeh ghar koi mandir nahi, maidan hai...jung ka maidan.' The house now has an even more vibrant and colourful palette of banana greens and lemon yellows with a touch of fuchsia, aqua and purple thrown in good measure.
There's also a lavish gym, swimming pool, open kitchen, spacious living room and dining area, a pyramid-inspired confession room and a curiously titled delight room. Only this time all the contestants -- girls and boys will be sleeping in the same room, wherein there are seven double beds and one single bed.
The format remains the same with a couple of tweaks here and there -- 14 participants locked in a house for a good 96, instead of the usual 84 with over 30 cameras to capture their every single move.
As for the contestants, the 3-hour long opening episode witnesses old ones and new. While former inmates Rakhi Sawant, Sambhavana Seth, Raju Shrivastav, Vindoo Singh, Ravi Kissen, Kashmira Shah, Tanaaz and hubby Bakhtiar Irani performed in turns, the new lot is patiently introduced by the 44-year old superstar. So what's this season going to look like? Controversy-packed! Here's a quick look at the players and you'll know why:

Bigg Boss's female and male inmates will share a lot of things including beds and bathrooms
The Salman Khan-hosted new season of Bigg Boss will have one bedroom common for all the 14 contestants.
What's more is that there will be only one single bed while all the others will be double beds. Also, there will be only two common bathrooms and toilets for both the male and female participants.
This is a major change from the previous seasons that had separate sleeping and bathroom areas for the men and women.
According to the channel, "This has got more compact, leaving just enough space for each inmate to keep a close eye on the others."
The gym area has also been tweaked in size this time considering that it has shifted from the outdoors to the indoors. It is like an extension of the living room and there is also a jacuzzi.
The confession room will see a huge change this time in more ways than one, as Bigg Boss has decided to be accessible to the inmates only when he wants to. The hydraulic entry and the flight of stairs leading to the confession room will open up only when Bigg Boss wishes so.
The outdoor expanse has the special wave pool.

Why Salman chose to anchor Bigg Boss 4
In between jokes and jibes, Salman Khan tells us why he chose to anchor Bigg BossI
t’s perhaps characteristic of Salman Khan’s sense of humour that when asked what impelled him to become host of the latest season of Bigg Boss, he launches into a story which leaves the listener hovering between belief and disbelief. With a perfect poker face, he narrates, “My mother told me to do it. She’d had a dream about my nani, who recently passed away. In that dream my nani told her that I should do the show because it would really suit me.” It’s a joke, obviously and when taxed about pulling the interviewer’s leg, Khan responds, “Why would I pull your leg? It’s true — even my nana was in that dream. My mother told me so. And I believe everything my mother tells me.” At last, a hint of a smile.
Mostly though, Khan is dead serious when he talks about his new role as host of the controversial show which has galloped triumphantly into a fourth season, brushing off all allegations of scripting, tasteless content and rigging. Is there anything at all that the superstar is worried about as the show goes on air on October 3? “I will just be myself,” he says, “so I’m worried that I’ll be spontaneous and will say something that will be misconstrued by the media.” But he does feel that the show has more to offer than entertainment. “In front of the camera, believe it or not, people’s true nature comes out,” he says, “you can see them for what they are, shorn of all pretences. Of course, sometimes the pressure does make them act or behave badly.” In his opinion, the most well-behaved contestant till date on Bigg Boss was Rahul Roy, the winner of the first season. As for the worst behaved, he says, “I think Pravesh Rana could’ve done so much better,” he says of the third season finalist, “I met him recently and he is such a nice human being.”
Bigg Boss 4 is full of controversial inmates
New Delhi: The line-up of contestants for "Bigg Boss 4" has a Pakistani terrorist's former lawyer, a thief-turned-detective, a former dacoit, a Pakistani cross-dresser and others.
It's no wonder Colors chose Bollywood star Salman Khan to host the reality show, where controversy seems to be the ticket for entry.
It seems the "Bigg Boss 4" house in Lonavala, at the outskirts of Mumbai, might end up being quite a pot full of controversies this year with inmates like Mumbai terror attack accused Mohammad Ajmal Kasab's former lawyer Abbas Kazmi; thief-turned-detective Devinder Singh alias Superchor Bunty; actor Ashmit Patel, who was involved in an MMS scandal; and Rahul Bhatt, who was friends with David Headley, accused of scouting targets for Mumbai attack.
There will be fireworks in the house with former woman bandit Seema Parihar, who had allegedly killed 70 people and abducted over 200 before surrendering to the police a few years ago, joining others.
Some controversial names from across the border like Pakistani actress and former girlfriend of fast bowler Mohammed Asif, Veena Malik, and Pakistani cross-dressing diva Begum Nawazish Ali will also spice up the reality show, especially when they will be sharing the same house.
The show's glamour quotient will shoot up with TV actresses like Shweta Tiwari and Sara Khan, former MTV Splitsvilla contestant Sakshi Pradhan and model Aanchal Kumar. Also, joining the inmates will be Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari, model-turned-actor Sameer Soni and model Hrishant Goswami.
The 14 participants will be spending three months sans any communication with the outside world. They will clean wash rooms, will wake up early morning and survive on limited food.
The participants are not allowed to carry mobile phones and there will be no clock in the house which will be constantly under surveillance of about 50 cameras.
As compared to the earlier editions of the show, the set up of the house has been changed along with some rules. There will be no walls, no separate bedrooms for male and female contestants respectively and there will be cameras and microphones in wash rooms.
The colour scheme is brighter with yellow being the dominant shade of the interiors.
Every week a participant will be eliminated, and the one who survives till the end will be the winner.
The launch episode of the season saw a melange of participants taken on a guided tour of the house by Salman, who even performed later on songs from his hits "Dabangg" and "Wanted".
The contestants for the fourth season put up sizzling performances before entering the "Bigg Boss" house.
"Bigg Boss 3" winner Vindu Dara Singh and former contestants like Ravi Kishan, Bakhtiyaar and Tanaaz Currim, comedian Raju Srivatsav, were also present at the launch, and some like Kashmera Shah and Sambhavana Seth even performed.
